Accessibility at RNR Landscaping
RNR wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, or reduced motion.
Our commitment
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA
RNR works to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing effort: as the site changes, we review new pages and components against these guidelines rather than treating access as a one-time task.
Why this matters to RNR
RNR designs mobility-friendly outdoor spaces for wheelchair users, seniors aging in place, veterans, and caregivers, so an accessible website is part of the same commitment. If any part of this site gets in your way, we want to hear about it and fix it.
Accessibility features on this site
- A “Skip to content” link as the first item for keyboard users.
- Semantic landmarks (navigation, main content, and a footer address) so assistive technology can navigate the page structure.
- Every interactive control is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
- Images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative imagery is hidden from assistive technology.
- Form fields have visible labels, correct input types, and clear required-field and error messaging.
- Color and type are chosen to meet WCAG AA contrast for body text, and the layout reflows without horizontal scrolling on small screens and at higher zoom.
- Animations respect the operating-system “reduce motion” setting.
Known limitations
Some embedded or third-party content, and older gallery items, may not yet meet every AA criterion. We review these as we update the site. If you reach content that is difficult to use, contact RNR and we will provide the information you need in another format and work to correct the issue.
